2009 World AIDS Day

Every year on December 1, World AIDS Day provides governments, national AIDS programs, faith organizations, community organizations, and individuals with an opportunity to raise awareness and focus attention on the global AIDS epidemic.

Dallas LifeWalk

Why should you get involved? LifeWalk supports the needs for people living with HIV/AIDS in your community. The proceeds help to educate the community regarding this pervasive epidemic and how it impacts everyone. Dallas leads the state of Texas in new HIV infections and has more than 20,000 individuals that are HIV-infected in the Dallas metroplex.
 
 
2009 National HIV Aging Awareness Day
September 18
The National HIV/AIDS and Aging Awareness day highlights the complex issues related to HIV prevention, care and treatment for aging populations in the United States. The goal of the campaign is to emphasize the need for prevention, research, and data targeting the aging population, medical understanding of the aging process and the impact of HIV/AIDS. Read More
